KEY ACHIEVEMENT
- Numbers of 45 business and working-women from Daikundi province exhibited their hand products.
- More than 40 women attended training on women participation in business and social activities.
Numbers of 45 working and businesswomen from different districts (Kejran, Sang e Takht, Ketti, Khader, Miramor, Ashtarlai, Shahristan and Nilli) gathered to demonstrate their hand products such as hat, clothes, traditional dress, Chapan, sewed collar, sewed sleeve, gloves, scarf, and other traditional models.
Hundreds of women and men visited this unique handicraft exhibition which was not held before; some of the visitors purchased the hand products and Daikundi governor also promised to provide more enough facilities for business and working women to build their capacities. Daikundi women more optimize for being part of the handicraft exhibition participants and organizer. They appreciated CPI for granting such wonderful program and keenly looking to take step forward for women participation in business and handicraft productions.
