KEY ACHIEVEMENT

  • The number of vulnerable women financially supported through the distribution of 5-box honeybees.
  • The income generation amongst vulnerable women is sustained.
  • The vulnerable women attended literacy training and were able to basically read and write.

Through this project, the widows, repatriates, refugees, and the most vulnerable women are provided with facilities for honeybee keeping and literacy training. The women attended skills training on honeybee keeping and marketing. They also attended literacy training to read and write. Through this project, a number of vulnerable women received 5 boxes of honeybees to sustain their daily life, they were also equipped with jars and other honey-collection equipment. Therefore, women were provided with job opportunities to reduce economic deprivation. They are also encouraged to play a significant role in society.
