The project implemented in Bamyan province to celebrate International Woman Day where more about 300 of women, girls have gathered to highlight their sufferings and create more awareness among women of the country about their rights. The women participated in a 5 KM march in Bamyan city on March 11, 2015 that organized by New Message for Afghan Women Organization (NMAWO) and Bamyan DoWA by financial support of CPI. The march started from Maaref Chawk and ended in Arakine Chawk where, hundreds of women who participated in the rally declared the resolution. They asked the government to end gender-based discrimination, provide equal rights to women, ensure the role of women in government offices and preserve the women dignity in work place.
